Odd
Todd to get his own television show in 2005.
June 18, 2004 by Eric Jacobson
Odd
Todd will get his own cartoon on Comedy Central starting in
early 2005. Odd Todd is a web developer living in New York
City who started making web cartoons shortly after he got
laid off from a dot com startup company. While looking for
other methods of employment, he began making the cartoons
as something to do to fill his days and put them online with
a donation button via Paypal.
As the years passed, Odd Todd developed
a huge fan base who adored his cartoons. He received a book
deal and released The
Odd Todd Handbook: Hard Times, Soft Couch. He also began
making enough money to live on from donations given to him
by his diehard fans.
Comedy Central recently decided that
his content and quirky sense of humor was worth making into
a cartoon and the rest is, as they say, history.
You can view Odd Todd's cartoons
at his website. His television show will be airing in early
2005 on the Comedy Central cable television network.
