On June 4, 2004, Computer Mechanix, Inc. released its completely redesigned website giving way to a whole new approach to computer support. The website has new sections dedicated to product reviews, news in the computer industry and technical articles to help visitors become better-educated about what this box is on their desks.

The new redesign is a team effort from members of Computer Mechanix, Inc. and their sister website design company, IRX Productions. IRX Productions is owned by Eric Jacobson and has a number of clients in Asheville and around the country.

Computer Mechanix, Inc. went into business in March 2002 and this site design marks their third website. Both Woody Feffer and Eric Jacobson believe this to be the second real design that's hit their domain name as the first two were thrown together just to get an online presence for their clients.
