Computer Mechanix is donating four (4) one-hour gift certificates to the Black Mountain College Museum + Arts Center's upcoming silent auction. The silent auction also includes varied works of art provided by Asheville residents and artists and will take place from August 1, 2005 through September 10, 2005 at Ananda Hair Studio located at 22 Broadway St.

Proceeds will go to the Black Mountain College Museum + Arts Center which strives to preserve and continue the unique legacy of the educational and artistic innovation of the Black Mountain College for public study and enjoyment. The BMCMAC achieves its mission through collection, conservation and educational activities including: exhibition, publication, and public programs.

Computer Mechanix is proud to support the activities of the Black Mountain College Museum + Arts Center to uphold the historical importance of the Black Mountain College whose alumni include such prestigious innovators as Buckminster Fuller and Josef Albers.
